About the Rotary Club of Frankston

The Rotary Club of Frankston was formed 76 years ago and over that time has provided continuous support to the local community.

Our Club supports a range of local community, national and international projects and the generation of funds to support these projects involves all members.

The Rotary Club of Frankston was awarded Frankston City Council's 2024 Community Group of  the Year.

Some of our more recent achievements include:

  • Contributing to the worldwide elimination of polio through the global End Polio Now Campaign.
  • A donation of $20,000 towards the purchase of a Pre-Natal Ultrasound Machine for Frankston Hospital.
  • Founding and ongoing management of the Seaford Farmers Market, between 2008 and 2023.
  • Supporting the establishment and providing ongoing support for the Frankston Community Garden including the installation of a disabled toilet.
  • Donations totalling $60,000 to Community Support Frankston to support and prevent homelessness.
  • Donations totalling $35,000 to the VICSES Frankston Unit to assist in purchasing 2 replacement ageing 4X4
  • operational vehicles.
  • A donation of $24,000 to MSFIN (Mums Supporting Families in Need) who provide free material aid to families in crisis.
