ARTIST BIO

I am a Melbourne-based artist focusing on emotional transformations and empowerment. My figurative expressionism uses color, language, and media layering to engage viewers in internal reflections and conversations.

Experimentation and evolution are central to my practice, allowing my work to grow alongside me. I currently explore abstraction, form, transparency, and opacity, using layering to establish emotional hierarchy. Depending on the piece, I start with either form or abstraction, building the narrative from there.

As a mixed media artist, I utilize brushwork, palette knives, watercolor, acrylic, inks, Prismacolor pencils, fine liners amd embroiderytechniques. Each medium reveals different aspects of the work. My marks range from controlled to abstract, depending on the process stage. My color palette varies with each piece but is always limited to maintain focus.

Driven by the theme of emotional transformation, I aim to create connections by making the internal visible. Inspired by Jeff VanderMeer and Carol Carter, my work emphasizes strength and empowerment, encouraging internal dialogue and connection. My art reflects a journey from an unstable childhood to personal growth, serving as a way to process experiences and inspire viewers to embrace their evolution without fear.
