Features

ARTIST NOTES: Acrylic Ink, Acrylic Paint, Watercolour & Collage on 300gsm mixed media paper. (Hangable but not framed. Please read notation at the end of my description notes). I selected one of my recently created layered intuitive bases which congoured thoughts of a sea maiden and her underwater world. After developing my maiden further I continued to intuitively build details with further layers until a playful fantasy world developed for my sea nymph to frolic. Sea Nymph would add interest, colour and a little whimsy to any chosen space. As Sea Nymph requires framing my artwork images include examples of how she could look framed and hung. Please check artwork dimensions as in situ examples are for display purposes only and may not be to scale. Edit: Sea Nymph now professional mounted on hangable board with a complimentary blue border as I entered her in a Art Exhibition. This allows you to hang her immediately and until you choose your own framing process. You can choose to use the mounting board and border in your chosen framing process by just having the hook removed.

ARTIST BIO

Rosemary’s artistic journey is a delightful adventure that showcases the power of creativity. From a young age, she found joy in artistic pursuits, but it wasn’t until her retirement, amid the quiet of countless covid lockdowns, that she truly reconnected with her passion for art.

With an eclectic style that celebrates whimsy, Rosemary’s paintings are a vibrant reflection of her playful spirit. Rather than sticking to a rigid plan, she lets her creativity flow, allowing each piece to reveal itself organically. As she layers colors and textures, her work takes on a life of its own, resulting in captivating pieces that invite viewers into her imaginative world.
Originally working solely with acrylics on canvas, Rosemary has since embraced an exciting variety of materials. Now, her mixed media artworks bring together paint, ink, soft pastels, oil sticks, and collage, transforming her creations into multidimensional expressions of her vision.
At the heart of Rosemary’s art is a simple yet powerful motivation: it makes her happy! The joy she feels while painting shines through in every piece she creates, and sharing that joy with others has ignited her passion even further. With numerous pieces sold and a growing audience, Rosemary is driven to continue creating and sharing her artwork, ensuring that her vibrant imagination remains a central part of her life for years to come.
