Red Rock Cliff Mothers Beach Mornington by Bernadette Devlin

Features

ARTIST NOTES: This small oil painting captures the quiet beauty of Mother's Beach in Mornington, where the warm red cliffs glow in the morning sun. The painting is built through textured layers of oil paint applied with short brushstrokes. The textured surface echoes the rugged character of the cliffs and shoreline, while the interplay of colour and light evokes the warmth and serenity of a peaceful morning at Mother's Beach. This painting is both a celebration of Mornington's coastal character and an acknowledgement of the rich cultural heritage embedded within the landscape. It invites viewers to pause, appreciate the natural beauty of the shoreline, and reflect on the enduring stories and connections that continue to shape this Country.
